Profitability of broiler production in Cross River State, Nigeria

The study was carried out to determine profitability of broiler production in Cross River State, Nigeria. A three stage multi sampling technique adopted the selection 180 respondents. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics such as frequency, mean, ranking and percentages, well budgeting techniques tools net farm income (NFI), return naira invested (RNI), gross operating ratios (GR OR) respectively. Result analysis showed that socio-economic attributes farmers - age, sex, marital status, education, experience, business size training studied influenced on area.
